Remembrance Day

Div. 14 has been talking about Remembrance Day and why it is important we take the time to think about those who fought for our freedom. We have been making poppies out of tissue paper and colouring poppies for our class wreath that will be hung around the school during our Remembrance Day assembly. We are also talking about peace, what it means to us, and how we can be peacemakers at home and at school. We remember and we are grateful.

Halloween

Div. 14 has been busy making spiders and creepy carrots in preparation for Halloween! We’ve been listening to stories and have had fun making creative crafts. I love seeing how unique everyone’s designs are and how each person’s work displays our individual personalities. Halloween may look a little different this year, but we are finding ways to have fun in a safe way 🙂
