Week of May 19th – 22nd

Division 5,

How was your Victoria Day long weekend? Check out this cool video on why we celebrate Victoria Day!

At the end of last week, Zoom invitations were sent out.  You would have received four invitations.  One math group, one read aloud, one special guest session, and one social studies lesson. Please email me if you have not received the invitations, or the math time I have given you does not work with your schedule.

Starting next week, we will start class meetings on Monday afternoon.  Attendance for class meetings will be optional.

I noticed some of you have started your ADST lessons.  If you haven’t yet, please check out the ADST page. Families, I encourage you to watch the slide shows with your child.

Keep sending in your amazing work!  Your effort is appreciated!  Here’s a link to other accomplishments from other students at South Slope, including our class slide show that was shared last week.  Ms. Perez, Ms. Fierro, and Mrs. Araujo said they are proud of you and it made them smile to see your had work! 💕😁💕

During last week’s read aloud with Ms. Short, she shared some information about how to attract bees with sugar and water and how it can be a source of food for bees.
