Music Monday

This year Brentwood Park will be joining other school across Canada participating in Music Monday.  This annual event celebrates the importance of music in our schools, communities, and lives.  Each year a famous Canadian musician writes a new song for everyone to sing.  This year, the BNL together with the astronaut, Chris Hadfield, wrote the song, “Is Somebody Singing.”  On Monday May 6th, Students at Brentwood Park Elementary will be celebrating the importance of music in their lives.

Voice of Nature Concert at Michael J. Fox Theatre

A choir of 60 students participated in the Voices of Nature Concert in March.  Students sung songs about oceans, rivers, forests, bears, salmon, climate change, endangered species and related social issues.  

Primary Days of Music Festival

This year students from divisions 9, 10, 11, 12, & 13 participated in Burnaby’s Primary Days of Music Festival.  It was a great success and the students were very excited to have participated in this event.  Below are a few pictures from the festival.
