bringing our tree home

Posted by on February 1, 2016

We walked to Beacher’s Creek to bring our tree back home to the forest.  We went with Ms. Yap and Mr. Yanko.  Alyssa and Mackezie carried our tree to the park.

We got to sing our song for the tree.  It was different than the one we created in class because we could not bring the xylophones to the park.  We replaced them with the kazoos and we made up a song, the words are “goodbye tree, goodbye tree, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.”  the ukulele and the drums were the same.

We also got to say some goodbye words to the tree.

We went to explore in the forest and found two good nurse logs.  we found mushrooms, moss, and plants like ferns growing and we also planted and returned the tree home.  some of us found a big tree log and it took a few of us to carry it.
