Dear Parents,
Today, we started off with creating a double bar graph for the class by dividing students into Grade 4s and 5s and asking them about their favourite animal.
Then, students worked on all questions of Lesson 2 of their respective textbooks. It is homework if not done,
After, students had music, snack, and then DPA.
Following DPA, we worked on our science charts and then we practiced more of our French conjugations and filled out a worksheet together on avoir and ĂȘtre.
After lunch, I went over a checklist for peer editing so that students could use the same symbols to make it easier to differentiate spelling mistakes, grammar, capitalization errors, etc.
Then, after recess, we watched a few fairytales in French and I pointed out key vocabulary and then students had a bit of time to work on their healthcare worker thank you cards for the Royal Columbian hospital.
Just a reminder that the spelling test is on Thursday.
