  1. Heat energy – energy that provides warmth (e.g. candles, fire, etc.)
  2. Electricity – energy that powers devices
  3. Renewable Resources – sources of energy that can be used again and again
  4. Non-Renewable Resources – sources of energy that can run out after use
  5. Solar Power – energy that comes from the sun
  6. Solar Panels – put on roofs to gather energy from the sun
  7. Reflection – when light bounces off of a surface and back the way it came
  8. Refraction – when white light is split through a prism to show separate colours
  9. Circuits – closed, connected wires that allow energy to flow
  10. Potential Energy – stored energy that can be used, but hasn’t been used yet
