Our Remembrance Day assembly was on Friday and some of our students read their poems called: “Peace Reminds Me Of…” or their postcards to the veterans. They all did a wonderful job reading in front of the school.
Some of our students shared their poem at our Truth and Reconciliation Assembly in September:
Matthew’s mom came to our class last Friday and spoke to us about her job as a construction project manager who builds and helps develop restaurants. She talked about her schooling and what she loves about her job. She brought pizza from one of the restaurants that she helped with and the kids were super excited!
