Welcome Division 11 Families to our 2024 – 2025 class blog! We are very excited to be your child’s teachers this year, we have a very fun and exciting Grade 3 year ahead! September flew by so quickly and the students have all settled into our classroom routines and expectations. They have all been working very hard and having lots of fun too! We are very excited about their public speeches; they have been doing fantastic and we are very impressed with what we have seen already!
We are going to adding more to this blog throughout the year and adding pictures of our classroom and our bulletin displays of our class so please visit and check it out every once in awhile!
Thank you to the parents for signing the planners each night and for helping with spelling and weekly speeches, we appreciate your support. Along with reading each night, we are encouraging our kids to practice their adding and subtraction fluency too. 5-10 minutes a night with flash cards or card games would help a lot.
Thank you to all the families who have volunteered to help us with our Seton Villa visits and our Forest walks. We had our first Seton visit last Friday and it was so much fun! The residents were truly excited to see the kids and do the craft with them.
One last thing, Samantha, Matthew’s mom came to our class to speak about her job and she brought the kids some pizza! We would love to have more parents and families come forward to come talk about their job, please let us know if you’d like to come into the class too! We would appreciate it!
