Dear Families,
Hasn’t it been exciting to observe our painted lady caterpillar friends this week!? We will continue exploring how caterpillars grow through discussions and investigations of the life cycle. Our symmetry focus in Math continues this week as well and, in the afternoons, we’ll be starting to read a chapter book together to practice our reading and comprehension strategies, as well as our listening skills.
Please note that our small groups will be cancelled this week, as well as next, for our one-on-one Literacy and Numeracy meetings (see the schedule for your child’s time). Here is the schedule the our 1:1 meetings.
This Friday we also have our beach themed Celebration of Learning Assembly at 1:00 pm, instead of our afternoon meeting, where we will get to watch the video of our scarf dance! The Zoom link for the assembly will follow shortly!
Don’t forget that we are participating in the 30 Walk Challenge, so try to find some time each day to get moving and/or do our “Before We Meet” workouts! Post your pictures or videos of you being active on our 30 Walk Challenge Channel on TEAMS! Let’s inspire each other to move and exercise!
