- The school staff will be leaving the school grounds for the parade at 1pm, hope to see you and wave to you!!! I will be driving my white van.
Due to the parade today, I am assigning the rest of the work for today as optional, if you choose to spend the 1 hour of work time for your child watching and waiting for the parade that is fine, if you’d also like to do some activities they are below. Here is the link to the Parade Route map.
Optional Activities for today:
- Math: I have uploaded 3 coin activities on Teams: Canadian Money Memory (you need to print this double sided), Roll and Add Canadian Coins and Canadian Coin Sorting Mat, you can choose to do any or all of the activities. I have moved all of the Coin activities into a folder called Money in the Math folder. Take a look at the 3 activities, they could all be recreated by drawing and using coins you have at home
- Make a sign to hold at the parade
- Complete a writing page
- Read books on Raz Kids, watch books on Tumblebooks, or have someone read you several books.
