- Watch Show and Tell, and watch the video of Robert Munsch performing The Paper Bag Princess. I really like this book, and I was the Paper Bag Princess for Halloween one year. Jack was the dragon! Complete a Beginning/Middle/End activity sheet for The Paper Bag Princess.
- Check out Robert Munsch’s website. You can listen to most of his books, and learn about the inspiration behind many of his stories. He often wrote books based on children or on ideas that he received from children. You can learn more about him and how he started writing books.
- Reminder: The parade is tomorrow, the teachers will be leaving the school grounds at 1pm. Please see the email from Montecito sent last Friday for the route map. Music class will be cancelled tomorrow.
- Math: practice naming the coins and their values, complete the Colour the Coins – Canadian Money worksheet on Teams
- Reading: Kindergarten spend 15-20 minutes listening to books, Grade 1 read and record a book on Raz Kids
- Talk to your family about what zone/zones you are in and why, and ask them what zone/zones they are in
- Don’t forget to watch the morning announcements today, and see the announcement that Mrs. Chin made with her family.

- Pretend your counters are coins, and practice counting by 1’s, 2’s, 5’s and 10’s. Can you count by 25’s as well?
