We are All Potatoes

We are All Potatoes

I enjoyed our discussion on diversity today, and I hope you have had a chance to share your thoughts with your parents. I have always felt so fortunate to be able to live and work in a school, community and city that celebrates diversity. No matter what gender, race or culture we are, or the ways in which we learn or the languages we speak, we all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I love that we are so uniquely special and different, but in the end, we are all human beings who are a part of a group. What did you think about the potato activity we did today in class? What thoughts come to mind when you think of diversity?

  1. I really enjoyed working with our potato pals. I especially liked today’s work, writing about our potatoes and also naming them. I had lots of fun describing my potato!!
