  1. I don’t celebrate earth day but when I was at Mexico we did. What we did was we turned off all of the lights and we ate dinner outside so we don’t waste any light bulbs or any electricity.

  2. This was a great inspirational video. I really liked it. I don’t celebrate earth hour ,but I hope one day I can use my power to change climate change! I could probably convince my family to celebrate earth hour with me. After all they might say yes because it save them some money!

  3. I have never even heard of Earth Hour but I might participate in this event.
It will save a lot of electricity if mostly everyone turned off their lights for one hour. My mom will probably say to use candles or something.

  4. I really like the video, and also I think that earth hour is when you turn off all the lights and try to save as much electricity as you can, because I read about it on the news. But I’m not that sure about if its really all about that.

  5. Earth hour seems like a good idea, and next year I’ll try it for sure. I think the purpose of earth hour is to conserve energy and help climate change.
Turning off the lights and electronics for one hour does make a difference even if it is a short period of time because a lot of people around the world are celebrating it. I have never celebrated earth hour but now that I know it can help climate change and our earth then I will definitely try it.

  6. The purpose of earth hour is to save electricity. Not using electricity for one hour makes a big difference because around 75% is not using electricity and when you add it all up, that’s a lot of electricity being saved. I’ve never tried celebrating it but I think I’m going to try it.

    1. Because of all the people doing it I think it makes a big difference.
I didn’t even know about celebrating earth hour but what you said made me think about the planet so I think I will.

  7. This video is very inspiring and even though I don’t celebrate earth hour next year I surely will. This video shows how much saving the earth means to a lot of people because turning off all your lights and electronics to save energy was a very smart idea. Who came up with earth hour anyway?

  8. I didn’t participate this year for earth hour but maybe I can do it next year. Maybe I could do it once a month, a week, or every two weeks instead of just doing it once a year. I think I could do this any other day and it would still have the same results as doing it on earth day. It would be really cool to do this because its just one little thing I could do to help the earth and conserve energy and maybe a bit of money.
