Happy Holidays Division Seven!

Happy Holidays Division Seven!

It is hard to believe that we are only a few days away from Winter Break! It seems like only yesterday that we began our grade five year in September, and now here we are four months later getting ready for the holidays. Everybody has worked so hard this past term to improve their skills and knowledge. Remember that effort equals improvement and that we are all ‘potatoes’, different yet the same. Mrs. Bennett and I are looking forward to helping you learn even more in the New Year and witnessing your ‘Nelson Mandela’ acts of kindness and mindfulness.

During the break, I plan to spend a lot of time with my family and friends. Perhaps I will go to Grouse Mountain for the festivities up there, enjoy the Christmas lights around town, go ice skating, maybe the movies and down to Seattle for a couple of days. I also plan to get plenty of rest and ‘recharge my batteries’ for January. What are your plans for the holidays? What are some traditions that you follow with your family and friends?

  1. Usually around the Christmas time I would go skating not only on the weekends but like every day! Many times my family and I would do our last minute shopping, because we are always so busy!On Christmas day my whole family would have a party at my house,we would gather around the Christmas tree and open present and sing Christmas songs. As the days pass it would feel like Christmas was only yesterday!Every year we countdown to New years and celebrate my dads birthday on New years day.And that`s all my plans that I know of!Merry Christmas and Happy New year!
