Pink Shirt Day and Legally Blonde!
Wednesday we will have a 9am Celebration of Learning assembly which is also Pink Shirt Day at Aubrey. Immediately after the assembly we will depart by public transportation to Shadbolt to see the play put on by high school drama students. Since our class is departing early, I’ve mentioned that we can visit the Tim Horton’s / Pizza shop for lunch/snack around noon so students are welcome to bring their own money for this if they choose to. The weather isn’t looking great so please ensure students are dressed to wait for buses outside!
Important note: The play ENDS at 2:45 at Shadbolt and we have 4 classes returning at the same time. We may have to walk a while to take a different bus line as 4 classes can’t fit on one bus. Any parents wanting to pick up their kids from Shadbolt please ensure you are there before 2:45 as we’ll need to leave as soon as the play ends and can’t wait. I am hoping we’ll be back at Aubrey at 3:30pm but this depends on bus capacity. You can call the office for updates as I’ll keep them in the loop.
Lastly, we are finishing our massive L.A. projects on speeches and our novel study. Most students should be working on these at home as they are both due next week (March 7th and 8th respectively). We have put in a lot of class time with these, but the deadline is quickly approaching!
