A is For Apple

A is for apple . . . . and adjectives.  Division 10 has been learning about using more descriptive words in our writing.  First, we made apples from tissue paper and acrylic paste.  Then, we brainstormed different words that describe apples.  Here are the apple poems that we wrote using only adjectives.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Think and Wonder. Wonder and Think.   Dr. Seuss.

Division !0 wonders about many things.  We wondered if an apple would sink or float.  We decided to do an experiment to answer our question.  First we made a prediction and made a class graph.  Then we tried it out.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

We also wondered about what would weigh more, less or the same as an apple.  Here we are hard at work.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAAsk me what I discovered.

  4. Cook the apples.
  5. Mash the apples.
  6. Add cinnamon.
