Division 10 had a blast the last day of school before the holidays.  We ate pancakes, visited with Santa, decorated our gingerbread men . . .  and we got to do it all in our pajamas.  [metaslider id=1868]

Colorful Math

Division 10 has been working on understanding number concepts through math games and hands-on manipulatives, such as dice, cards and rainbow colored candy. These math activities include meaningful and purposeful counting, and help the children develop a sense of conservation of number, quantity and number relationships.  [metaslider id=1843]

The children of Division 10 are authors and illustrators!  We have been learning about the writing process.  One of the things we discovered is that a good fictional story has a problem and a solution.  We wrote our own stories and made sure that they had a problem that gets solved in the end.   Here we are reading our books to each other.[metaslider id=1811]
