At the Park – Ms Gourlay's Class

At the Park

| Posted in Learning

The children have been working with loose parts to create a setting for a story.  A setting is ‘where and when’ a story takes place.  The setting for this story is in the park.  The children were then invited to write about their settings.

Ask your child about her/his setting.

Sophie told us the story of her “playing at a park near by the forest. I saw a bunch of animals. I saw birds and frogs! The end.” We got too excited guessing which ones her picture was. She definitely had a lot of frogs. Thank you for sharing these creative work of the kids. They’re all so beautiful.

Brayden said, “He was at the park. There was a bird and a frog. The frog jumped in the river and the bird was laying an egg in the tree.” Brayden loves Story Workshop. He loves building his stories!
