Jack-o-Lanterns – Ms Gourlay's Class

Jack-o-Lanterns

| Posted in Learning

For Halloween, the children made these adorable Jack-o-lanterns! They mixed yellow and red paint to make the orange pumpkins.  When the paper was dry, they cut them out and added the eyes, mouths, teeth, stems and grass.

Then, we played some Halloween inspired math games . . .

We finished our school day with a party and the school-wide costume parade.  The morning rain had stopped and the sun was out . . . just in time for the evening’s treat-or-treating events.

Thank you to the parents who provided some healthy snacks for our party!
