The 100th day of school is not only an important milestone, but it is also the perfect opportunity to have fun with the number 100.  

From the very first day that school started, Division 10 has been keeping track of the number of days that we have been in school in anticipation of the 100th day. Each day was represented by a straw, ten of which became a “ten bundle”.  This provided us with many opportunities to count by tens and ones while developing place value concepts. 

When the 100th day of school arrived, each child brought 100 items to school to count and sort into groups of 10.  Look at how different 100 can look.[metaslider id=2115]
