What questions do you have?Β (I wonder…)
What is going on in this picture?Β (I think… or Maybe…)
What do you see that makes you say that?Β (I think….Β because…)
What more can you find?

Last week’s photo explained:

b.) Literacy*

Please continue your β€œEverybody Needs a Rock” assignment.

Documents:

Rules:Β Everybody Needs A Rock 10 Rules

Planning sheet:Β Everybody Needs a Rock (Int)

β€œGiving Back” Rock planning sheet:Β My Giving Back Rock (intermediate)

c.) Math

Please continue your math program.
Khan Academy, IXL, worksheets, etc.

If you would like support/guidance on a math program, please contact me.

Extension Activities (optional)

d.) Genius Hour (optional)

Continue your Genius Hour project.Β  This is an ongoing project. If you have completed it or are just starting, here is the planning sheet to start a new inquiry:Genius Hour Planning Sheet

e.) β€œGiving Back” Painting

There has been a suggestion for painting supportive messages for members passing by in the community or for frontline workers. In our class, there has been mention (and photos sent) of these wonderful messages. Even though we are almost 2 months into social distancing and conditions are starting to improve, it is always nice to pass by a new, kind message.

As suggested by you in class, this week’s art project is a supportive painting project. This may include painting a kind rock (β€œGiving Back” rock β€” see more under β€œLiteracy), a poster/paper, or any other way you wish to show your support and kindness.

f.) Outdoor Classroom Day

Thursday May 21st is Outdoor Classroom Day. This acknowledges the land as teacher and the power of play and curiosity.

Please refer to activities you can try on your own or with your family in this document:Β Outdoor Classroom Day Activities

Have a good day,

Ms. Daneshwand

I wonder if they are blocking the road for a Reason.

I think that the guy was walking with that one dog that is on the ground laying down and then he found all of those sheep?

I think that because the guy seems to be confused and looking around.

It looks like all those sheep came from some where in the woods or way behind them it looks like a mini farm. (I don’t think I can finish my reading assignment because tomorrow and the day after and the day after where helping our cousin move on Friday and Saturday and Sunday we are helping them set up there house)

I think πŸ€” the dog 🐢 is a sheepdog and is herding sheep.
I wonder why there are so many sheep πŸ‘ .
I wonder why they are all on the road.
I wonder why there are cars in the background.

why is there sheep in the road? what country do they let sheep walk on the road?
What is going on in this picture? (I think… or Maybe…)
maybe the man is walking the sheep to the other farm?
What do you see that makes you say that? (I think…. because…)
it makes me say that because the man is walking a dog that looks like a guard dog to cross to the other farm
    What more can you find?
    nothing

I think the person owns all those sheep and they escaped out of their pen/cage.
Maybe the person owns the dog and it is trying to help the person lead the sheep back to their home.
I wonder why there are so many sheep.
Why are the sheep blocking the road?

I think that the dog is a sheep dog🐢 and all the sheep ran away from the barn and the dog and the owner found all the sheep. The dog is probably leading all the sheep home to there barn. why are there so many sheep?πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ.

I wonder what the boy is doing. Maybe he is rescuing the dog because he looks like he is guarding the street. Thank you.

I think this guy and the dog herded all the sheep and let them go because they don’t need then anymore or they are collecting the sheep to put on they’re farm so he brought the dog to heard them.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸπŸπŸπŸπŸ‘πŸπŸ‘πŸπŸ•πŸ©πŸ•β€πŸ¦ΊπŸ•β€πŸ¦ΊπŸΆπŸ•β€πŸ¦ΊπŸ•β€πŸ¦Ί

I think the people that are in the background are blocking the road to stop the cars from flattening the sheep on the road. I wonder how the sheep got there on the road and how long they were there at the road. I think this because there’s sheep and people outside near the forest with one dog.

    1. Maybe she call someone to get the sheep
    2. Maybe she is trying to help the sheep
    3. Maybe cars are coming and she needs to get the sheep off the road
    4. Maybe the dog is there to help keep the sheep together
    5. I wonder why there is so many sheep
    6. I think they are finding a way to help the sheep

I think they are helping the sheep and calling them to move them off of the road so cars can go by. They could be taking a walk with the sheep because there is so much. The dog could be helping the owner with sheep.
