Battle of the Books Reflection
This month, we have been engaging in two different Battle of the Books!
In class, we read graphic novels while annotating important story/graphic novel elements in order to write a persuasive comparison thesis on which book is better.
Collectively, all the Grade 5/6 classes are also doing a Battle of the Books that is similar to book trivia, where we come up with questions to answer together in the library.
Reflection:
- Which Battle of the Books is superior in terms of ______? Create a short paragraph describing both. Don’t forget to use transition words to contrast.
- Which BOTB is more challenging? How?
- What Core Competencies or Value of the Week do you need to apply on each BOTB?
