We spent the afternoon using referents and good ‘ol fashioned thoughtful guesses to 
STIMATE how many candies were in the jars.

ON’T Fall! It’s the Grade 3-7 Tug of War preliminaries! Everyone did such a great job pulling their best in the heat and we’re looking forward to the finals on Sports Day!

Sports Day Spirit Days!
Sports Day is next Friday, June 5th! Each day next week students will have an opportunity to wear each of the house colours to earn points for their own House Team. I can’t wait to see the sea of colours and feel the excitement of Sports Day grow during the week!

The ALPHABET COUNTDOWN has begun!
For the rest of the school year we’ll be celebrating each day with a letter, or two. We’ll be participating in activities and/or dressing in something special to make our last month together memorable and lots of fun!

21 Earth Day projects displayed on the wall. 10 pizzas ate them then the children made more. Then a plant wanted to make one! Then the teacher counted and there were extra. Then later suddenly one disappeared. Apparently the paper wanted to drink coffee forever! How mnay now? ~ Nila
