I hope everyone had a tons of fun on Saturday with your family and/or friends!! I missed seeing everyone at school in their costumes, but I hope you all had fun celebrating with your friends. Kennedy & I went for a short Trick or Treating around the spooky neighbourhood houses of my friend Fiona and her son, Nolan. It was so cool to see everybody’s creativity in handing out candy during covid. All of the houses we visited had candy chutes from either their balcony or front door, people throwing candy off of balconies, tables with pre packaged candy bags or they were using long tongs to hand out their candy to trick or treaters.

Jingle’s last week with us had her doing aerobics on our disco ball, giving herself a makeover, taking a ride on Rudolph, gliding on a zip line and playing Tic Tac Toe with our classroom stuffies! I sure hope she was proud of our behaviour these past 3 weeks and will give us a thumbs up to Santa!

Jingle continued to visit us this week, snoozing in our plant, gifting us each a book, getting into trouble with Grinch and getting herself into a sticky situation.

Jingle has been busy watching over Division 8’s Grade 3s this past week. Climbing the walls, jumping in ball pits, making her mark around the classroom, keep her eyes on us from up high in our Rudolph stocking and playing Battleship with Max the dog.

Santa has been sending Jingle, a friendly scout elf from the North Pole, to Room 203 to watch and report on whether Nelson’s Grade 3s are being naughty or nice! She keeps an eye on who is filling their classmates’ buckets during the month of December. Looks like she’s back and having some fun!
I can’t wait to see who’ll be the first to spy the new spot she’ll be watching from each day! I hope her daily report to Santa includes many acts of kindness that she witnesses in our classroom.
