Happy Halloween!

HappyHalloweenPictureLoveItI hope everyone had a tons of fun yesterday out and about with your family and friends!! On Saturday, we visited a local community centre and participated in lots of fun Halloween activities before going to our friends’ house to carve our pumpkins. On Sunday, Kennedy, Ava & I went to the house of Kennedy’s best friend, Frankie! We took some pictures and then went Trick or Treating around the spooky neighbourhood houses.

Save the Turkeys!

Poor turkeys don’t want to be eaten on Thanksgiving, so Division 9 students were given the task of disguising their turkey! Using anything they could find around home, they dressed their turkeys so that they wouldn’t be found and put on the table for Thanksgiving dinner.

The turkeys are now safely hidden in our classroom. *whew!*

Happy Thanksgiving!

Division 9 has been discussing what we are thankful for and last week we added our ideas onto our classroom pumpkin. A little reminder over the coming weeks of all we should be oh so grateful for.
