UMPY Poppin Rockets! Science with baking soda & vinegar!
We created a chemical reaction in a film canister! The vinegar reacts with the baking soda and produces carbon dioxide gas. Pressure builds up until the small canister can no longer contain the gas. The lid pops off, the canister shoots up into the air, the gas escapes, and the pressure is released.

CY Treats! We recovered from another day of hot weather by being spoiled with delicious popsicles to celebrate Sanaaya’s birthday! Thank you so much Sanaaya!!
We also GNITED our Sports Day spirit with a run through of tomorrow’s events. I can’t wait for all the fun we’ll have!

Jelly Beans, Sours, Ju Jubes… Count the Candies!!
We spent the afternoon using referents and good ‘ol fashioned thoughtful guesses to 
STIMATE how many candies were in the jars.
