Music Activities

Hello Amazing Music Students,

I am so excited this morning to share with you some fun online music activities for you to do this week in your flex learning time. Remember to finish the work from your classroom teachers first!

Primary students:

  1. Test your rhythm knowledge here (click on “Which Rhythm Do You Hear? on the top right).         Tell me your score in the comments below. (Div. 7 & 8 play level #2 / Div. 5 & 6 play level #6)
  2. Test your melody knowledge here and tell me your three scores in the comments below.                          (Div. 7 & 8 play level #1a, 1b, 1c / Div. 5 & 6 play level #2a, 2b, 2c)

Intermediate Students:

  1. Test your rhythm knowledge here (click on “Which Rhythm Do You Hear? on the top right).          Tell me your score in the comments below. (Div. 3 & 4 play level #7 / Div. 1 & 2 play level #8)
  2. Test your melody knowledge here and tell me your three scores in the comments below.                (Div. 3 &4 play level #3a, 3b, 3c / Div. 1 & 2 play level #5a, 5b, 5c)
  3. Practice matching notes on the staff here. Play level #2 a few times and tell me your best score.                        If any link doesn’t work just click on it again. For some reason it works on the 2nd or 3rd try!

I hope you have a lot of fun and good learning with these music activities!

Please Note:  I will always post music activities on this website at 9:00am in the morning. Therefore, you only have to check my website once in the morning to see if there are new activities for that day. I do not post everyday, in order to not overwhelm the students (or parents) and to give ample time for students to complete musical learning during their flex time. If you do not prefer to check this site each morning, you can subscribe to this website to receive an email notification when new activities are posted.
