Hello everyone,
June is always a bittersweet month at school. It is a time for celebrating all of our accomplishments and reflecting on everything we have learned and done. It is also a time for farewells, especially for our grade 7 students who are transitioning to secondary school in the fall.
It has been a busy year, with lots of learning, having new experiences, and developing new skills. But the year is not over…yet! This is a short post, but there is lots going on this month. Please scroll to the bottom of this post for important upcoming dates and events.
Ms. Brule’s Last Day at Glenwood
Friday, June 5th is Ms. Brule’s last day at Glenwood. She has successfully completed her practicum experiences at Glenwood. We will celebrate by having a class party on Thursday, June 4th in the afternoon. Students on the Green House Team are invited to bring and share snacks to our party.
- Tuesday, June 2 2026 – Div. 1-3 Swimming at MacPherson Pool (afternoon)
- Friday, June 5 2026 – Grade 7 Students to Playland (Grade 6 students remain at Glenwood)
- Monday, June 8 2026 – Professional Development Day – Students do not attend
- Friday, June 12 – Sports Day – Early Dismissal at 1:30
- Monday June 15 – Wednesday, June 17 – Div. 1 to Camp Jubilee
- Friday, June 19 – Grade 7 Leaving Ceremony @ 10:30 (doors open at 10:15)
- Monday June 22 – Recognition Assembly
- Tuesday June 23 – Grade 7 Students: Bulldog / Rebel for a Day (Grade 6 students remain at Glenwood)
- Wednesday June 24 – School Picnic at Ron McLean Park (all day)
- Thursday June 25 – Last Day of School – Students attend 9:00 – 10:00
