Hello Everyone,

I would like to clarify  that assignments in this post apply to all students in Band 6/7 unless you are a beginner, in which case, please send me an email so I can put together a different assignment for you! @Ms.Petrovska

ASSIGNMENTS

Practice and record one, two or all of the three assignments listed  below:

1. Ayre separately (Soundtrap – link was sent to you)

2. Dance separately (Soundtrap – link was sent to you) OR if you prefer to use SmartMusic you can record Ayre and Dance the entire piece.

3. Star Wars can only be recorded in Soundtrap.

You can find them here as well Soundtrap assignment links.

Watch the Soundtrap assignment tutorial recorded by my amazing colleague, Mr. Martin from Sperling. This video will help you get started, edit and save your project!

ALL Grade 6 /7 Band students – please submit your assignment(s) either one, two or all three recordings (your choice), by June1st.

Exciting news! All (1200) Grade 7 band students are invited to participate in the 2020 Burnaby School District Massed Grade 7 Band Recording Project! Once recordings from all schools have been received,  teachers will then merge all the parts and merge all schools into one mass (huge) group recording.

  • Grade 7’s – if you want to be part of the massed bands project,  please submit your recording(s) of Ayre and Dance Star Wars before May 25th.
  • Grade 7’s – If  you submit these assignments by the due date, you will no longer need to submit your Music 4-7 assignments, unless you want to!
  • Grade 7’s – If you choose not to participate in Mass Band Project your due date is June 1st.
  • ONLY FOR Grade 7 Mass Band Recordings – Please click here for more information on how to submit your Recordings Instructions for Recording.
