Attribution

giving attribution means others (and yourself) can look at the site said picture came from.   It also means giving respect to the creator of the picture (in this case).                                  Look at the picture below. If you hover over it, it will show the link to the website that I found this picture on Wikimedia commons. That is one way to show attribution.

The Inportance Of Giving Attribution

The Importance Of Giving Attribution

Right now you are probably thinking ‘what does attribution mean?’ Attribution means giving credit for the person who made it or took the picture for an example, you see a really cool picture on a website and you really want to use it so you decided to use it and you give credit for it that is attribution means. It’s really important to give attribution or else the person who made it might think your copyrighting and if you get any money from it you can be fined and go to jail or they will get really annoyed at you, if you forget and you always give attribution you can apologies and say that you forgot to give attribution and they will probably forgive you. Sometimes the picture says you don’t need to give attribution but it still is nice to give attribution to the person. Sometimes it doesn’t say who made the picture so you should contact them to see if you can use it, they could say yes or no. There are some pictures that require you to pay them probably because it took them awhile to make it or take the picture. Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have a good day or night.

Should people chop down trees

I think that people should stop chopping trees it can also ruin our environment. Trees create an ecosystem to provide habitat and food for birds and other animals.Trees absorb carbon dioxide and potentially harmful gasses, such as sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, from the air and release oxygen. One large tree can supply a day’s supply of oxygen for four people.

Trees are very important for us.

AquaVan reflection

The Vancouver aquarium came to visit our school and showed us lots of cool species, one of my favorite section was when daphne(my group instructor) showed the orca whale’s jaw. She held it beside my ear and taped the ear hole and we could hear her tapping wit her finger, it was really interesting because when you look at their head you don’t see their ear. It’s actually right at the tip of their chin that when they meet a friendly dolphin they communicate with clicking noises and he/she communicates by attracting the sound to make it travel through their hole and into their eardrum. I though they didn’t have ears at all, but it’s right beside their eyes and I think they’re really cool mammals.

Something else they showed us was the arctic fox, the arctic fox is a really funny animal because in the spring all of their furs will shed and they’ll look like this.they do that so they like take off their winter coat when it’s spring and summer moreover Arctic foxes generally eat any small animal they can find, including lemmings, voles, other rodents, hares, birds, eggs, fish, and carrion. They scavenge on carcasses left by larger predators such as wolves and polar bears, and in times of scarcity even eat their feces. It is sort of a diet they eat to stay in shape.

Would you eat seal if it was on the menu?

Thoughts About Seal One The  Menu

I think that you should NEVER have seal on the menu because they are killing the baby seals too and some day they will be unable to  breed and they will eventually go extinct.

We don’t know what they do with the other parts of the animal. And for all we know we are trying to look into it and stop the seal on the menu.

Some of the time the First Nations need the fur for clothes and bedding,They have killed more than one million from 1950 till now.

In my opinion I think seal on the menu is horrible  I think they should never have it ,As you can see there killing

“Harp Seal“  by the looks of it, it looks a good amount

but , there is a chance of then seals to get extinct.

the importance of attribution.

Attribution means giving credit for that picture and the file person.Giving attribution is showing respect for their work that they did, furthermore when you are to use someone’s picture then you should be kind and give the attribution to the picture.  I was confused of how to give the attribution but then I remembered how to. It’s not respectful to not give attribution to a picture when you should, imagine someone woke up 3:00 am just to take a picture of a sunrise and edited for six hours for a perfect picture. that is reasonable for some and if you know you gave attribution then when you hover over your photo you picked it will show it.
