Wonder

Wonder

It doesn’t matter how you look it matters what is inside you It matters what you are thinking about and how you act to people. You are who you are you don’t have to listen to what others say(if its not important) you don’t have to believe what others believe.

A Lesson I Learned From Wonder

One of the couple lessons I learned from Wonder is to not be friends with rude people an example of this is when Jack, Amos, Henry, and Miles realized that Julian was not such a great friend. Another lesson I learnt is that your deeds are your monuments an example of this is when Julian bullied August and ruined his own reputation

what lesson I take from wonder:never jugde someone by there look even if there defromed

|Auggie was deformed but when he went to his new school he got bullied by Julian.Because he looked different then everyone there but then Auggie meant this guy. Jack he wanted to be friends with Auggie was wondering why Jack wanted to be friends but Auggie had time to think about it and he accepted it |Summer was always there for Auggie summer was also nice to him because he barely had no friends to talk to when they walked past Julian he didn’t say anything maybe there was something wrong| Julian of course  was the big mean bully to August because he was deformed but guess what Jack help him a’lot when Auggie didn’t do anything helpful to Jack in anyway at all Jack is a friendly friend|Auggies mom is a caring loving mom she is there for Auggie if he needs her but his mom is a caring love for Auggie to handle but Auggie talked to his mom about it but his mom didn’t lestien to him and she loved him to much|Jack was a nice guy but there was Julian and of course he was a bully to Auggie his friends were a gang Julian was a part of it kind of so they would bully Auggie because he looked different then everyone else

What I Take Away From Wonder

There are a lot of things that I liked, and that I learned from. But I’m going to tell you about a couple things that stood out for me. For example, Mr. Browne’s precepts, such as “Choose Kind”or “Your deeds are your monuments. I also particularly enjoy some of the quotes. Here is my favourite quote from the book.

Now here is my secret. It is very simple. It is only with one’s heart that one can see clearly. What is essential is visible to the eye.

– Antoine de Saint Exupery, “The Little Prince”

Some of the MAIN characters are:

  • August
  • Julian
  • Jack
  • Summer
  • Via
  • Justin
  • Miranda
  • Mom
  • Dad
  • Daisy
  • Mr. Tushman
  • Mr. Brown
  • (That is just naming a few!!!)

Now, let’s move onto a topic which is, ATTITUDE

I DEFINITELY think that Julian showed some negative attitude towards August.

(e.g. leaving notes, criticising August, etc.)

But I ALSO think that August showed some negative attitude towards himself too.

(e.g. Criticising his facial deformity, saying he looked “ugly”, etc.)

If I kept going, it would take a long, long time… so, bye for now!

What I take Away from Wonder

If I were to take some lessons from wonder it would be these:                          1 .Most people judge others by how they feel about them here are some examples: Julian judged August by how his face looked, in the book Auggie and Me Julian was actually scared of August’s face and was scared that August would take his place as the most popular person in Beacher Prep, so he tried to make August leave. Eddie was mean to August because he just judged him by how he looked and also I think he was pretty mean anyways  2.Pretty much everyone in the story has problems here are 3 examples: 1.Jack’s family struggles with their money. 2.Though she hides it well Via has alot of grief for her dead grandmother. 3. August struggled at Beacher Prep because he did not have alot of friends. That is all for my wonder take away.
