A while ago, my class got to go to a trip with the Beedie Group. The Beedie Group is a construction company. We first got to go in a bus with Andrew, a construction worker. Andrew showed us all about the process of building. I think he really knew what he was talking about. Andrew was with the company for a long time. His story also influenced me to think more about being a construction worker in a later age.
Next we went to the office of the Beedie Group. We met Mr. Beedie, the owner of the Beedie group! I think he was also very inspirational. He really worked hard for his company. We looked around the office and I saw some interesting things. There was the regular offices, computer room, and many other places.I really liked the computer room. After we we looked around they treated us to pizza! Not to make you hungry but the pizza was delicious! The tasty, cheesy cheese, the crispy, crunchy crust, and everything else in the pizza was amazing.
The Beedie Group gave us an amazing experience.
Your descriptive writing DID make me hungry! But before I go find something to eat, I’ll say that I’m glad you got a different perspective on construction work. A carpenter has to master many skills, including organization & communication skills that we might more quickly associate with work done in an office. I’m glad your eyes were opened to a broader view of the world of work.
