The National Theatre in London is offering streams of great plays.

The Guardian newspaper has lists of free streaming theatre and dance (this list is refreshed often, so you may need to search for the up-to-date version in the “Staying In” section of their Culture page.

Shakespeare lovers: check out the free streaming from the Globe theatre in London (which recreates the original open-air theatre of Shakespeare’s time, complete with the “groundlings” stood).
