The 2016/2017 school year is the official launch of the redesigned BC curriculum. This curriculum aligns wonderfully with the tenets of the MACC program, but, being new, these first few years will be ones of (exciting) experimentation for all involved.
Our big focus throughout the year will be on the Core Competencies: Communicating, Thinking (critically and creatively), and Personal and Social Awareness and Responsibility (primarily through self-inquiry and the development of an engaged interest in, understanding of, and empathy for others). We will also incorporate the First Nations Principles of Learning across all subject areas.
