Its been a very busy start up this year and we are now heading into reporting season. I will be doing 3-way conferences in next week, please make sure you send in a time so I can book you in. Students have been sent home with a letter from me regarding meetings next week.
Current assignments student in Division 1 are working on:
– math unit 1 test this week
– Socials Studies Power paragraph – Voting
– Scary stories – setting the scene
-Blogfolios are almost set up hopefully by next week
– PE. Volleyball
– Reading workshop – Connections (students need a new novel to create a book talk)
– French – numbers 1-100, letters of the alphabet, colors, days of the week and months of the year. (quizzes coming soon.)
Please remind your tweens that it is important for them to take 5 minutes at the end of the day to write in their planners – many seem to be running out with out doing this.
I am very proud of this leadership (Div.1&2) group this year for their roles in our Halloween adventures for the school.
