Hi all,
In our story Wonder, it seems as though Auggie’s parents and Via are learning how to handle and manage taking care of Auggie through real life experience. There is no handbook or textbook that teaches the family on how to take care of Auggie properly. Instead, they learn through trial and error, and through Auggie telling them how he feels and what they should do for him. Kids have a lot of things that they can teach their parents and other adults. Please watch the video below and try to answer some of the questions.

We as kids could teach adults and parents by telling them that it or what is not the right thing to do. Maybe we could tell them if they are doing something wrong then at that point we could be real teachers to all adults and then they could now be real learners like us kids! If the adults are not in charge of the room or the boss and maybe even visiting that when you
can teach them and they can learn from you! kids can be the teacher to an adult when they are struggling and need help.F.Y.I. Adults really appreciate your help.
I was trying to teach my mom how to do some math questions because she did not know how to do them. I taught her to be very patient too because she was rushing a lot.

I taught my parents about Fire Ants. They didn’t know that they actually had a pointy thing like a wasp, but they do have venom when they bite you. They mostly take a big chunk of your body. I got bit by a fire ant before and I didn’t see anything. They are just like poking me and I didn’t have any red bumps on my leg. The venom can actually make a big red mark on your whole leg. You don’t want to itch it because it will still be there. After I explained it my parents got freaked out and then they just freaked out for an hour.
Children could teach the Adults how to use things they did not grow up with. Children could teach adults what they need to adapt into. One time I taught my parents is when I told my mom how to turn on flash on a Phone.
Kids can teach their parents to be patient. I don’t keep my bedroom clean. They say clean it up. When I’m walking I don’t pick up my feet. When I don’t listen to them it teaches my parents to be patient because they get used to it. I forget to do these things because I’m bad at listening.
I think kids can teach adults to have more fun because think when was the last time you’ve seen an adult play at a… lets say a playground when was the last time you’ve seen a adult play at a playground you may think its a foolish question but once your parent gets old they will probably never play again that is if you don”t encourage them if you try to get them to play they might have a looooooooooot of fun!
I have taught my mom and dad to stay calm when they are upset or mad. Once my mom got mad and started to rage badly I pulled her to the side and told her to stay calm.

I tot my parents that when it is a fire to know what to do. First you close the door. Second you duck and roll . Then you get out of the house and ask your friends or family for a phone.
I can teach my parents about Rapid bus. They are green and blue and they get softer seats by 20%. They are 20% faster. If you go to the bus stop you can see the sign to tell where the bus is going. There is an autoinfo to tell you where the next bus is. R1 on King George boulevard, R2 Marine Drive, R3 Lougheed Highway. R4 41st Ave. R5 Hastings Street. They have more room. My parents will read the stories about rapid bus
I can tech my parents how to finger knitting. My dad he could get mad. Video games,bored games.Kids can tech parents like parents tech kids. You have to wrap the cotton around your fingers two times. You will have two rows and the bottom row you flip it over your finger and you keep on doing that until you stop. And how you stop is you have one row on each finger and you have to flip the first row on the first finger onto the second finger and then there should be two on the second finger, and you take the bottom one and you lift it over the finger. And you should have one on that finger and you continue it on other fingers.
Adults can not know something because they grew up not having these things.
My moms dad got his first I phone 2 months ago and I had to teach him.
my dad did not know how to work an I phone so I had to teach him.
I can tech my parents how to play a video game,a bored game, or how to finger knit and if i get bored I can make up a game and tech my parents it. I play Clash Royale and the game is about a battle royale thing and you battle other players with a deck of cards. With the cards you place it down on the field and you battle other opponents. The goal of the game is to do a certain amount of battles, and you get trophies. You level up when you get more trophies and then you get more cards when you level up.
True,we could be leaders when their is no one in charge.its also is helpful to help teachers. kids can help adults, students can teach teachers
and younger siblings can teach older siblings in different ways.

I think I can teach my mom to be more fun because my mom hasent had fun in a long time so i am going to slowly teche her.

lets taik about how children can be teachers to their parents they can be teachers like if their mom doesent know how to play roblox they can teach her mom.and know were gonna taik about what children can teach their parents they can teach them how to play chess and uno and maybe even sowing.so one day i taught my parents how to play one of my board games that i made and one of the games that i made and we use to always play it when my mom is free and i usually show her some games to play on my ipad and it was alot of fun.
Children can teach adults that children are small in the outside, and big in the inside.If a kid likes to read he/she may share information with their parents

When we learned fractions i capt it in my head. After school i went home and told my perents how to do it first the were very surprised but after i finished explaining they got the hang of it and thats what i teached my perents.☺😆😆😉
