Spring Break!

Hi all,

What did you do for spring break? Please write me a short paragraph about the things you’ve done. Over my spring break, I was working spring break camps (Camp Mad) at Warner Loat Park in Burnaby. By the end of the week I got pretty good at archery. I also made a trip up to Kamloops to visit my cousin and also to help coach a hockey tournament for children with autism. To end off the break, I played in a hockey tournament and we won the cup. I scored a goal finally too! Oh ya, I forgot! I completed my Master’s project and will be submitting it later on this week … hopefully. I look forward to reading your posts.

(P.S. I am almost done marking your letters, but the brochures are all done)

Well, for my spring break I went to Winnipeg and got to visit up there for the first time and meet my auntie, uncle, and cousin it was pretty cold up there. Well, I went bowling and won with over 50 points more than my cousin and his friend, and my brothers. I visited my aunties restaurants she has 3!! and she is getting 2 more, talk about money making right there. Anyway I went to an escape room and lost by a SECOND one second we had the right answer and we messed up the word “genius” somehow because we were rushing to fast to get it done. It was hard we had to do some really hard questions find keys, use a maze to open a lock and, some math that I really didn’t know. I went shopping and bought a bunch of clothes. So that is pretty much and trying reaching the goal of qualifying for a world cup.

This spring break I didn’t do much, I mostly went to my grandma’s house and played cards with my sister while my dad would fix my grandma’s wheelchair.
I had a sleepover with my friends a couple of times and watched a lot of youtube. I watched the Google Stadia live and I kept an eye out for a good video card deal on Newegg and Amazon. I edited a video and uploaded it for my friend and when I would be bored I would go out to fly a kite that my dad made out of a plastic bag. I also cleaned up my bedroom and rode a golf cart in the mall.

    Hello Mr.Wu,

On my spring break I went over to Surrey and hanged out around the mall with my family, after that me and my brothers went to the hot spring.
After we came back from our trip we just hanged out and we basically just went to have a family dinner and nothing really happened afterwards, So… that was basically my spring break…Pretty boring but eh I got a lot of rest and THANK GOD I did not have HOMEWORK!! Haha, that would have ruined my break working on a spring break…But I did keep tract and looking over on the class room website so that`s good 🙂 after the few weeks past I got some good and bad news… So Yeah Oh well! that`s all for now byeeee!!! xP

Your spring break must’ve been pretty exciting and fun judging from the picture.

What I did on my spring break was a pretty boring and bland experience but I’ll stretch it out as much as possible.
Well the first week I rode my bike for three days straight until it somehow stopped riding and now I don’t have any bike and I have to take it to a bike shop. The people said it was slowly damaging and if I had notice sooner it would’ve been much easier to fix. The next four days was just staying inside and watching Netflix. The second/ last week I read a lot of books, I went to the park twice during that week, I played on my trampoline, I ate a lot of food and I went grocery shopping.

Surprisingly, I was looking forward to school by the time the first week passed because I was BORED OUT OF MY MIND!!!! Especially, seeing and hearing my siblings fight 24/7 because that can really drive a person crazy.

My spring break was okay, we went to victoria which was cool. My favourite part was probably when we saw two rottweilers! One was a fully grown doggo, and the other was only a little pupper! They were both brothers though. The pupper was so tired that he actually fell asleep. They were both really sweet and gentle. We also went to penny farthings. not penny fartings, penny farthings, it’s a restaurant. Then we went to the craigdarroch castle and I don’t know how to explain it. (and I don’t want to) so in the wise words of my dad, look it up. On our last day we got to the ferries an hour early so we went to Sydney by the Sea. It’s a really cute little town by the sea. Hence the name Sydney by the Sea. 👍

My spring break consisted of lots of boring stuff like an annoying little brother being forced to do work like clearing out a giant mound of dirt onto my lawn. I was forced to do a golf camp over spring break and it was pretty fun except I had to get up at 7 in the morning because it was at Burnaby Mountain golf course and started at 9 in the morning. I also had to deal with my brother who was being very annoying and throwing tantrums every half hour. I really worry about him because his teacher says he is very mature. I also got a new convention oven and microwave because our old ones were in terrible condition. So this is how I spent my very very very boring spring break.

For spring break, I went to China. Specifically, Beijing. When I went there, I went to tourist places (The Forbidden City, Great Wall of China), lots of restaurants (jealous Mr. Wu XD), and visited my relatives. the rest of the time I just lounged around and watched Chinese dramas (cringy) with my mom. So, yeah. That’s all.

This spring break for me was so much fun! I went to Orlando,Florida. Me and my family went to all the Disney Parks which were Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios! Out of all those parks my favorite would probably have to be Animal Kingdom because of the Avatar part of the park. In Avatar land we waited for over three hours for the 4-d ride that takes you all over Pandora on a flying animal that has breathing affects. It was a breathtaking view for a ride. In Epcot I really like the test test track ride that was sponsored by Chevrolet. You customize your own car and then ride it on a track that takes you through a series of obstacles. Near the end of the ride the car exceed to 64.9 miles per hour and is so much fun! At magic kingdom I really liked splash mountain and space mountain because I like water rides and roller coasters. Finally in Hollywood studios my favourite ride was “rock n’ roller coaster “ staring Aerosmith. The ride is a roller coaster that takes place in the dark and has loops and it is very fast. My other favourite ride there was the slinky dog in toy story land. It is also a roller coaster like aerosmith but more “kiddy”.

We also went to universal studios that has two parks. That are universal studios and islands of adventure. At universal studios my favourite ride was escape from Gringotts which was in diagon ally Harry Potter. It was a 3-d roller coaster. In island of adventure my favourite rides were Jurassic park, ripsaw falls, and popeye’s barge ride. These were all water rides!

In conclusion I had a great time in Orlando and I hope to go back soon!

Over the spring break my parents and I went to Portland and Las Vegas. In Portland we spent a few days with our friends. In Las Vegas my parents took me in a helicopter ride over the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. The ride was impresive and fun, it was the first time for me in a helicopter. We flew over the Mohave desert were we have seen Lake Tahoe and some huge cacti. We landed at the bottom of the canyon were we took pictures and admired nature. I have also seen a Joshua tree, which apparently grows only there. The tree does not have leaves the way we know them , it has some spikes and somehow I managed to poke my finger, but it did not hurt much.
In a different evening we went to see a Cirque due Soleil show. The show was very entertaining.
After a few more days around the city we came back home with good memories.

On my spring break, I went to the Four Seasons five star hotel in Whistler. It was pretty cold and the views were amazing. I took many pictures and the ride there was for four hours but we stopped at Squamish to have breakfast, and take a break because I would probably be suffocated and or have a cramp by being squished by a bunch of bags! When we reached there I was stunned by what I saw… A beautiful and luxurious hotel. I wanted to see how the room looked like so badly but it wasn’t ready for us to go in so we went to explore the village we saw a bunch of people skiing, snowboarding going on the gondolas and taking selfies-_- Me and my family also took a few picks at the Olympic rings and adored some masterpieces at this paintings shop I met my cousin there and we spend some time together we also went to Harrison Hot Springs and the most important thing was we all had fun!!!

Hope you had an exciting spring break too!

For spring break I just did some things but nothing big. During the first week I went to a see a movie and and went to superstore and Costco. During the next week I went to Port Moody and after we went to see townhomes we went to this place called Pasta Napoli or something. There is a huge hype around the pizza so I had some but it wasn’t even that great. We also went to IKEA twice once with just me, my brother and my dad. The next time it was me my mom, my brother, and my dad. That’s what I did on the break.

my spring break wasn’t that interesting this year. I spent most of my time with my cousins who are 11 and 8. also it was my 13 birthday during spring break. my party was on the last weekend of spring break and I had it in an escape room. the escape room is called smartypantz and it is in Gastown. we did a room called dreamscape. the story was we were trapped in a children’s dream and we couldn’t get out. it was really fun and I think we all enjoyed it. apart from that, I didn’t do much more on my spring break. I binged some Netflix shows and went swimming a lot but overall it was a pretty relaxed spring break.
