Dear Parents,

Today, we started off with our Spelling Test and Literature Circles Quiz #1. Students need to make sure that they are reading their novel before the assigned dates so they can show their understanding of the book and be involved in their group meeting discussions. After, students re-presented their presentations if they presented in the afternoon yesterday in order to allow them to be part of the vote.

Then, we had snack and recess. Following recess, students wrote down the Weekend Journal Prompt. The Weekend Journal Prompt is: The saying goes “Money cannot buy happiness.” Do you agree or disagree with this saying? Why or why not? Explain.

There is no school on Monday, so this will be due on Tuesday.

Then, we had buddies where the students went on an alphabet scavenger hunt outside and then played with their little buddies.

After lunch, we went over the Social Studies Test material as the test will be next Thursday. Students should bring home their booklets this weekend to study their notes. Then, we watched the rest of the repeat presentations and students voted for their favourite presentation secretly through a Google Forms document.

Then, students did planners and had Community Time.
