Dear Parents,

Sorry for a bit of a late post today. Today, we started off with practicing a full lockdown drill in case there was ever an intruder in the school. After, students had a zoom e-visit with the author, David Robertson. Students had snack during the zoom meet and then had recess. Following recess, students completed their spelling tests and then worked on their Animal Adaptations projects. Most students now have their links to freely work on the presentation side of the project.

After lunch, we practiced our next Literature Circle Roles: Summarizer and Vocabulary Finder. This is in preparation for when students will complete Literature Role Work and Discussions likely starting next week at some point.

Then, we had indoor DPA, and did a quick Math lesson with homework pages being Unit 6: Lesson 6 #1, 2, and 4. This is homework if students did not finish it in class today.

Reminder: Read 30 minutes and Math Test on Tuesday. Students should also bring 5 portfolio pieces of work in by tomorrow in preparation for next week.
