Dear Parents.

Today, we did our last lesson of the textbook. I taught how to rotate about a point that isn’t connected to the corner of a shape. It’s a bit tricky, but the students seemed to get it after a bit of practice on the board. With Grade 4s, I worked on reviewing how to solve division questions with remainders. I forgot to write down the homework pages for this blog post, but the students should know what their questions are.

After, we had snack and DPA.

When we came in, students worked on their stop motions on iPads some more – the stop motions are looking great! Then, students worked on their Father’s Day creations. Then, we read some more of Animorphs.

After lunch, we did a lesson on procedural writing and students planned out writing for how to do something that they are well versed in. Students peer checked each other’s and wrote one star and a wish.

After recess, students worked on their skits for personal narratives.

Last spelling test is on Thursday.

Sincerely,

Ms. Wilks
