Using materials you have at home, follow these steps:

  1. Find simple machines (or make them out of materials you have at home.)
  2. Combine the simple machines to make a complex machine.
  3. Write 6 sentences about what your complex machine’s job is and what it can do.

If you do NOT have any materials of simple machines at home, you may use paper, pencil crayons, and markers to design your ideal complex machine. You must still write 5 sentences about what your complex machine can do.
