Goooood morning everyone! I hope you enjoyed your Pro-D Day yesterday and enjoyed a well-deserved break. I went on a walk to Byrne Creek Ravine Park on the weekend and found the CUTEST painted rocks! (See above picture). It felt like an Easter egg hunt! Have any of you checked it out? I’d HIGHLY recommend! (It wasn’t very busy there either!)
I am excited to share a few things:
- IXL: As mentioned in our Class Meeting, I am moving us over to IXL for math (and literacy). It aligns better with BC content and is easier to use overall which many of you will enjoy. I sent everyone an email Monday with your username and password. Please use this to log in today and familiarize yourself with the site. I wrote some instructions in the Daily Schedule to find the recommended work I’ve assigned you.
- Classroom Cookbook activity: I created a new assignment in Teams for you to check out and work towards this week. It involves a bit of literacy, math, and my favorite….SCIENCE! Check it out! (And shout out to Nicholas for inspiring this fun assignment)!
