Hello everyone! Welcome to our classroom blog. This is the place to go to see what homework assignments are due (in case you forgot your planner) and to see what important work you missed if you’re home sick. Throughout the year I will be posting pictures of some of our work and our experiences together that you can share with your parents. My intention is to document and communicate student learning in a fun way.
I will sometimes post links to important videos I have shared in class that may help you study for tests/review content taught in class. For example, tomorrow I will be teaching about Growth Mindset. This is also a GREAT place to ask questions that come up while doing your homework. Comment on the appropriate post and I will respond as soon as I am able. Your classmates might see your question before me and be able to assist you even faster! Have fun, but remember: BE KIND.
In a perfect world, this blog will be updated every school day. However, I was born a mere human which means I sometimes forget. Eventually the updating will become YOUR responsibility as a classroom job, and if you give me grace from time to time, I will extend the same grace to you if….(when!)… you forget as well.
I have to say, I’m REALLY excited! I can’t wait to learn and grow with you. Looking forward to an AMAZING year!
