Today during Science, students discovered how to make an oobleck. Here are some facts about ooblecks and some pictures from our messy experiment 🙂
- Ooblecks:
- “Non-Newtonian fluid” (scientific name)
- Fits into 2 different states of matter
- Solid (when pressure is added) and Liquid (when pressure is removed)
- Can be made with 1 part water and 2 parts cornstarch (food colouring if desired)
