Hello Everyone!!! I hope you had a great weekend and got outside to enjoy the lovely sunshine, I did. Today I have two places for you to go! First you are going to hear a story read to you by an astronaut from the space station. It is called Rosie Revere, Engineer. The next place you need to find on my Symbaloo. It’s called Dance Mat Typing. This has a lot of crazy animals helping you to learn how to type the correct way. Learning to type is very important and we will have other typing programs for you to use, but for today check out Dance Mat Typing on my symbaloo. Today teachers are meeting again, keeping checking my blog for updates. Feel free to go back to my posts from last week and use any of the links I posted there………..like subitizing.
Hello Mrs. Schwarz,
I saw the book about Rosie Revere, Engineer. It was about Rosie who liked to make inventions and was shy at school, and keeps all sorts of stuff in her room, and builds inventions out of them. And one day, Rosie built a flying machine for her great aunt, and it flew!! But….then it crashed. And then the aunt laughed and laughed and said it was a total success. And I think the moral was don’t ever give up when something fails. And I also learned how to type. I finished stage 1 and 2. I liked it.
THANK YOU!
Wow stage 1 and 2!!! Typing is like learning to play the piano. You need to practice and practice means you need to go over the stages several times until your fingers have it memorized. How quickly can you do it? Do you have to think about what fingers you are using? Do you have both hands on home row? All of these things are very important. Keep practicing, lovey. So proud of you for doing this
Hi Ms. Schwarz,
I’m not able to get onto the Dance Mat Typing from your Symbaloo?
It defaults to something else. Do you have a link that you can send me?
Thank you!
Tas Walji
Do you have flash activated on your computer? It is working for other students but you will need flash
Let me know if this helped.
I didn’t find the Dance Mat Typing in Symbaloo so I ended up using with Leonardo the following link that I found after a quick search:

Mrs. Shwarzh may confirm if that’s the same game that was given.
Yes, thank you so much. I have had to fix the links to my symbaloo several times, but it is there now. Thank you so much for help and patience.
I hope Leonardo enjoyed
