What is a watershed?

Today in Division 9 students learned how water sheds down an area of land into streams and rivers to travel back to the ocean in an area called a watershed. It is not a little house  🏠 Our local area or watershed includes Stoney Creek, The Brunette River, The Fraser River, and The Pacific Ocean. It was a fun exploration complete with models and 💦
