Work for Friday May 8th

1. Watch Bruce’s Big Storm
2. Complete the My Favourite Book paper. Choose which Ryan T. Higgins book was your favourite, and watch the video of it again, then draw and picture and tell me why it was your favourite. (Paper on Teams)
3. Fun Friday!!!! Go to Teams and pick an activity or two from the Ryan T. Higgins activity folder. I uploaded a new activity for Bruce’s Big Storm. (Optional)
4. Finish your Mother’s Day book that you started yesterday.
5. Reading:
   1. Grade 1’s: go to Raz Kids and complete the reading assessment. It will tell me if you are reading at the right level. Don’t worry if you make mistakes, I just want to hear how you are doing. If you can’t find it, just read one of the assigned books and make a recording of it.
   2. Kindergartens: listen to a few books on Tumblebooks, or have someone read you a few books, or read or listen to a few books on Raz Kids. Spend 15-20 minutes listening or reading books.

Optional:

1. Create a Mother’s Day card for your Mom.
2. Play some math games
3. Practice skip counting, can you skip count if you start at 10 instead of 0?
4. Complete a writing page
5. Watch a Go Noodle video and get active!
