Buddies!
Today we met with our buddies and got to know one another better. For some of you, it is your first time being the ‘big buddy’ and the role model. I remember when some of you were in Mrs. Bains class two or three years ago. It sure must feel surreal being on the other end of the buddy spectrum. What were you feeling? Are you excited to be the big buddy now?
We also talked about thankfulness and gratitude as Thanksgiving is coming up soon. We have a lot to be thankful for in our lives, not just during the holidays, but every day! What else are you thankful for?

This is my second year of being a big buddy. I hope this a good experience like last year, and I’m sure it will.
I’m so excited because it is my first year being a big buddy. Although I didn’t really get to spend time with my little buddy I still had a lot of fun. I remember being a little buddy and how much fun it was. Now I’m ready to help and teach my little buddy like one did to me when I was younger.

Yes, Maya, we will certainly play with our buddies outside during the year. We will also make crafts with them and sometimes even make treats.
