Last year, when I joined red cedar I had a lot of books that sounded interesting.It was hard to choose.When I choose my 5 books I kept changing my mind!!When I finally choose the books and finished reading them, I had to pick my favorite book that I read,it was hard. When I picked the book I choose Ice Storm by Penny Draper.It’s about 2 girls name Alice and Sophie, they are cousins.Alice lived with her father in the city(I think it was Toronto),her father was a hydro worker.Alice loved to skate. Sophie lived in the same city as Alice but on the farms.She lived with her mom,dad and brother.She loved animals.They survived the Ice Storm.Alice even saved the mean grandma next door when a big maple tree crashed in to her house!!If you want to find out more read Ice Storm!! I didn’t join red cedar last year.But I am joining this year.I saw the books and I really want to read Dear Canada Torn Apart.I can’t wait till Tuesday because that’s when red cedar starts.Will anyone else joint this year?
Is it a really big book?
I really liked this book because I kept on asking questions like is Alice going to be ok? will Sophie see Alice due to this ice storm?I would rate this book 5 stars.:)
in red cedar are you suppose to read big novel
Ice Storm was not that big
But it was very descriptive
I read the book but I do not remember the brothers name. My favourite book was also ice storm.
