Easter Fun

Our kindergarteners had a day full of colorful, creative fun! We kicked things off with a our annual Parkcrest Easter egg hunt in the forest. Thank you to the PAC for organizing it!

Next up, it was time to get artsy with egg decorating! Each child received their very own egg-shaped cutout to bring to life with sharpie and paint. The creativity was amazing — from rainbow designs to polka-dot masterpieces, every egg was unique, just like our little artists.

To wrap up the fun, the kids headed outside for some chalk drawing with egg-shaped chalk. The blacktop became a canvas of Easter joy! It was a day filled with laughter and lots of happy memories!

Cherry Blossoms

As spring rolls in, we are getting into the seasonal spirit with a popular classroom activity: cherry blossom craft! Using paper, tissue, and glue, our little artists are bringing blooming branches to life right in the classroom.

Bats

Division 11 had so much fun learning about bats! We discovered that bats are amazing creatures that help our environment by eating bugs and pollinating plants. The class enjoyed reading and looking at pictures of bats, writing what they have learned and making a bat mobile.

When I’m 100 Years Old

We celebrated reaching the 100th Day of School in late February. One of the writing activities was asking the children to imagine the future and what it could possibly be like to be 100 Years Old! Here are a few samples.

Rock Painting

The Burnaby North Leadership team organized a rock painting activity with our class! The kids had so much fun painting and connecting with their new friends. We hope they will come back soon!
